Iris leaves

As we categorize things, these stiff green blades are the leaves of the Iris. It's like the old 'a tomato is a fruit'  um...fact that's used to bewilder (and antagonize) the naive. It's about semantics and definitions. Nevertheless, I am glad that Iris leaves don't fall from trees in Autumn.
