Making a Mess

This area has been under construction for almost a year - the canal's on the right, the Raritan River on the left. The project is creating a spillway and some conduits to allow water to run from the canal to the river in a more controlled way. That's the Rte 287 Overpass in the background. The park is the land in-between canal and river, thin and long (44 miles).
