Bittersweet Nightshade

I can see a resemblance between these and the flowers of the tomato plant (also in the Nightshade family).

This year, I noticed the ring of light spots  around the underside of the flower - I felt like I'd discovered something new. . . (it doesn't take much)

Bittersweet Nightshade berries are said to be slightly toxic.
