Carp Run

They must be Shad, I thought, as they struggled upriver, forcing their way over rocks - I saw at least 20 of these (click) 2 - 4 pound fish. A fisherman, I saw later told me the no less interesting truth - that they were Carp and that they grow to 30 pounds. I'd never seen fish of this size in the river.
