Milkweed Aphids These brightly colored aphids, also known as Oleander Aphids remind me of cartoon-ish beings from another planet. According to my cursory Internet research, these aphids are not necessarily harmful to the plant. (click) Click on this photo of a wasp below and look at the bottom right - there is a 'cute' winged aphid specimen to view.
