Mid-April 2003

The moderate snow of last week evaporated pretty quickly and did no damage other than to the forward momentum we internalize when we begin to experience Spring.

There have been a few mild, sunny days on which the 'greening' of the area is evident - trees are flowering, leaves are sprouting from the many Viburnum shrubs that line the path. Poison Ivy has been energized ( I have already experienced the first few blisters from my casual contact with it).

Birds are very active and the ducks and geese are nesting along the banks.
