More activity as people and snakes and  turtles and ducks and geese are inspired by light and weather to show themselves. One of the signs of Spring is the Canada Geese hanging out on the path (click) in addition to along the riverbank and canal. 

I'm not sure why the path becomes a desirable place for them, but it probably has to do with family matters. I've seen parents walking the goslings down into the wooded areas, teaching them a few lessons about the environment, I guess.
