Early-Mid June

A very wet month so far. Here I am, standing with my recorder, under an umbrella, looking at the recently mud-browned Raritan river (click) listening to the rain.

I enjoy taking pictures on a rainy or overcast day - an umbrella is enough protection in the open and the tree canopy over the path serves same purpose.

Not all birds seek shelter as the Kingbird here continued to leap up to catch insects still on the wing.

 The bikers were a surprise, pedaling steady through the  moderate rain, nodding to their pedestrian counterpart (me) as they went by.
