The
meow of the catbird (click) is a familiar sound along the
path.
In
late Spring and Summer, the
Catbird is the bird I'm most likely to see on the path.
They flit
closer than other birds while offering varied
vocalizations, seeming to deliberately call attention to
themselves.
All is lush and the side growth encroaches on the path making
cycling a more 'pay-attention' activity than at other times of
the year. Biking the path strikes me as moving through a tight
green tube.
