Along
our way through life, we occasionally encounter an experience
that challenges cherished ideas - in this case, that butterflies
are pure, sweet and delicate. Watch this video clip I made of a scene I came
upon this past week - (click)
The object of all this interest is a pile of Canada Goose
droppings. Euphemistically known as 'puddling', these Cabbage
Whites are sipping mineral juice from a rich source. Other
butterflies do it, as well.
