Early February 2004

Today, February 10th felt spring-like with the temperature in the mid 40s F. 

By now birdsongs are easily heard (Cardinal, Titmouse). 

 At bottom left, an  over-wintering rosette is showing deeper colors.

February, here, has long felt like the beginning of Spring, to me. All my efforts, however, to get the calendar changed to reflect that have fallen on blind ears. . .

Oh well, but you and I know it's true (wink, wink) and that's enough.
