Writing
this during a mild spell in early March, I feel out of the
Winter spirit and have gone into 'tick alert' mode, which means
I spray my pants legs with repellant - not that ticks
particularly worry me - it's just that they're so
busy and friendly in the early Spring and they come home with
me.

I was young, it was Rocky

that worried us when we saw ticks. . .Now, of course, it's Lyme
Disease, (a growth industry in the past decade) - but I haven't
really heard as many alarmists as before - so maybe the ticks
are just trying to figure out what next to frighten us with.
