Early February 2005
One of
my favorite months. Calm, clear and cold, occasional
warming, with an overall brightening of the sky.

My brother told me
that Box Elder wood is sought after by woodworkers for the fungal
discoloration that appears as it begins to decay - the term used to
describe the process / result is spalting. |
