Pokeweed What striking colors from this late maturing plant. Magenta and Lime. - the berries will soon turn dark purple and the juice makes a fine play-in-the-woods ink when the need arises. The leaves are edible, the roots and berries, poisonous. This is one of those plants I've taken a greater notice of over the past few years.
