Raritan River

Originating in west central, NJ, the Raritan eventually, borders Rutgers University and finally empties into Raritan Bay before  merging with the Atlantic Ocean. 

It's a source of visual entertainment for the park visitor, a second aquatic edge to the park which stands between it and the D & R Canal.
